On a cool but clear October day, four champions were crowned in elementary school soccer.
In the Sarnia South girl’s division, Confederation came out on top with a convincing 3-1 victory over Queen Elizabeth.
The tables were reversed in the boy’s division as Queen Elizabeth won 2-1 on penalty kicks.
In the Sarnia North girl’s division, a strong Bright’s Grove team upended a determined Errol Road team 1-0 in the final.
In the boy’s final, Errol Road were again finalists losing to Cathcart 2-1.
Close to 400 students participated in the final with hundreds of spectators cheering on.
