Oct.23/12 - The St Marys Rock, visited the Sarnia Arena Tuesday evening for a game vs the local Atom B girls.

Sydney Rogers opened the scoring at 1:52 of the first period, with an assist going to Peri Wilson. The visiting Rock team pressed early and often in the first period, but where shunned by the Lady Sting. The home team "continued to play according to the game plan" said Coach Williams.

Kaylee Clarke scored on a shot, with the assist going to Sydney Rogers. Other scorers were Tori Iacobelli, from Brooke Lauwers, and Lindsey Bartwitzki getting one, with an assist provided by Tori Iacobelli.

The strong defensive play from Abbie Williams, Brooke Boelens, Alex George, Paula Jackson, and Hannah Thompson, would shut down the St Marys team, allowing very few scoring chances.

Lindsey Bartwitzki, was relentless on the forecheck, and just as fast on the backcheck. Taylor Coutts, and Jadyn Clark were just as effective in their attack. The Lady Sting earned a 4-0 victory, and resume action this weekend on the road vs Belmont.
