The Sarnia Lady Sting Atom B team travelled to Stratford, for a game vs the Aces on Saturday. In an evenly matched game, the Lady Sting faced some pressure from the opposition. Strong goaltending from both teams, kept the game close and exciting. Hannah Thompson, Peri Wilson, and Gus Lauwers were all denied goals.

 

 It was in the third period, when Madi Gould took matters into her hands. Stickhandling up the right wing, she gained the offensive zone, and fired a hard accurate shot that found the left corner of the net.

The game continued to be close, as Stratford had their chances, even hitting the post, late in the game. Time expired, and the Sting would skate away with the 1 - 0 win. They get a well deserved break, as they don't play until the St. Thomas tournament on Nov.30th weekend.
