Lewicki, Beauvais Share Week's High Series

Bowling in the Sunday Morning Men’s League at Marcin Bowl, Steve Lewicki and Dan Beauvais shared the high triple scores in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this week.

Lewicki tossed 726 (237-242-247) while Beauvais fired 726 (269-244). Eighty one year young Fred Cole showed that bowling is a sport for young kids and the more mature. He bowled 720 (210-255-255) to lead the way in Marcin Thursday Night Men’s League action. He was chased by Jean Guy Morin 647 (224-231), Jean Lacroix Jr. 246, Kevin Herron 222 and Joe Durocher 214. Team standings are Morlo Yardscapes 81, Marcin Bowl 75, Tomlinson Enterprises 69, Lambton Alloys 68 and Lambton Climate Care 66.

Rob Vandermeer rolled 719 (248-257) in Marcin Triple A Mixed League play. Other men’s scores were Walter Amyotte 682 (255-245), Joe Csercsics 649 (231), Ernie Anderson 634 (245) and Bill Austin 634 (231). The ladies high scores were Kelly Hyatt 571 (213), Dianne Waddell 528 (215) and Sondra Callum 209. In Marcin Ontario Hydro Mixed League activity, the ladies upper scores were Mary Hearns 555 (199-201), Barb Montgomery 553 (221), Marilyn Mullen 499 (194) and Eileen Cochrane 194. In Marcin Monday Morning Ladies League fun, top scores were Mary Ann Riley 516 (180-189), Arleen Dion 472 (177) and Charlene Tait 447.

In Marcin 1046 Mixed League action, the ladies notable scores were Susan McGrath 619 (234-228), Rachel McGrath 601 (228-204), Blanche Chapman 567 (201-202) and Kyra Lester 202. On the men’s side, leading scores were Jim Creasor 584 (224), Jaden Chapman 564 (214), Todd Amerlinck 255, James Belton 214, Brian Core 214, David Trott 192, Allen Reymolds 192 and Ralph Hare 190.

In Airey Lanes Sunday Night Mixed League play, the ladies top scores were Mary Bradburn 431 (185), Terra Hobbs 165 and Pat Crumb 165. On the gentlemen’s side, high scores were Bill Crumb 547 (201) and Ken McLeod 533 (201-200). Team standings are The Biggest Whinner 46, Swamp People 40, Hell’s Kitchen 38, Hogs Gone Wild 34, Survivors 32 and Courtright Idols 26.

In the Marcin SMAA Majors division, the ladies high scores were Rachel McGrath 534 (199-191), Jessica Tetreault 470 (167), Lauren Kleinsmith 460 (179) and Bryanne Vaillancourt 458. On the gent’s side, leading scores were Daniel Carter 539 (190), Andrew Cushing 480 (188), Jordan Purdy 460 (189) and Jesse MacDougall 181.

In the SMAA Junior division, the girl’s best scores were Samantha Creasor 478 (195), Kira Pelkie 475 (177) and Madison Vaillancourt 458 (193). The boy’s leading scores were Tyler Edwards 530, Joshua Trott 521 (187) and Colin Hanley’s 187 single.  

In the Marcin SMAA Preps division, the girl’s top roller was Morgan Pelkie 406 (144). The boy’s high hurler was Ethan Boucher 462 (171).

In the Marcin SMAA Senior Bantams division, the girl’s high scores were Paige Jean 222 (85). The boy’s top scores belonged to Ryan Gruben 306 (112).
