PeeWee Division
Force 18 vs Storm 16
Force
2012 Peewee Playoff Champions
The initial contest was the Peewee Division Championship. In this game the first place Storm (7-2), took on the second place Force (5-4). The past two games played by these teams resulted in close victories by the Force.

Speed is deadly in any team sport and it was no different in this encounter. Avery Smiley put the Force up 6-0 before the games was 3 minutes old on a 37 yard scamper. This was the only scoring of the first half. Cam Havers broke 3 tackles on his way to the end zone from the 28 yard line to put the Force up 12-0 early in the third quarter.

The Storm replied with a 16 yard run by Marcus Cherski and a convert by Garrett Patterson to close the gap to 12-8, which is the way the score remained entering the final quarter.
Smiley again ran for a touchdown to increase the lead to 18-8. The Storm battled hard and were rewarded when Hunter Hendrie crossed the goal line from 6 yards out with time running out.
Patterson's second convert of the game narrowed the margin to 18-16. The Force recovered the ensuing short kick and were able to run the clock out for a hard earned victory.
