The LSSAA Girls Volleyball and Boys Basketball season began in both Senior and Junior Division.

 

In the Junior division North Lambton defeated Northern 3 - 0 with game scores of 25-23, 25-19, 25-17.  Player of the game for North Lambton was Jamie Barron and for Northern Lauren Shaw was named Player of the game.

 

In other Junior Girls action St. Francois-Xavier took a 2 - 1 win over LCCVI going 25-22, 25-14 in their two wins.

 

In Senior Girls St. Christopher shut out St. Pat's 3 - 0 25-10,25-13,25-21.  Player of the Match for St. Christopher was Emily Winsor and for St Pat's Paige Tucker and Olivia Prins shared the honour.

 

Boys basketball got underway on Tuesday with Northern Juniors defeated North Lambton 59 - 19.  In the senior division St. Clair defeated SCITS 51 - 32.  Scoring for St. Clair were Charlie Maness with 16 points, Justin Elipani socred 10 and Tyson Maitland 9.

 

In other senior boys action Northern defeated North Lambton 54 - 23 and St. Christopher took a 68 - 60 win over St. Patricks.
