Sarnia Jr B Pacers took a loss over the weekend

The Sarnia Jr B Pacers were in St. Catharines over the weekend and took a 12 - 5 loss against the Spartans  in Ontario Jr B Lacrosse action.

Sarnia took a 3 - 1 after the first period.  The Spartans scored the first goal of the game and Sarnia went on a scored the next three with Kevin Hussey leading it off on a powerplay.  TJ Mara scored a shorthanded goal and Liam Wright scored another power play goal.

In the Second period TJ Mara scored his second shorthanded goal early in the period to give the Pacers a 4 goal lead, however just over a minute later the Spartans began their scoring spree and counted five goals in the period, three on power plays and one shorthanded to take a 6 - 4 lead over the Pacers heading into the third.

TJ Mara scored his third goal of the game that was the final goal for the Pacers as the Spartans went on and added six more goals in the period.

The Pacers went 2 for 8 on power play opportunities, the Spartans went 3 for 6.

The Pacers are now 1 - 8 for the season. The Pacers are back in action when they host Windsor on Wed May 23 at the Clearwater Arena.  Game time 8:00 pm.
