Jr. B Pacers suffered
another loss to the
Wallaceburg Red Devils
in a close 9 - 8 finish
in Ontario Jr. B
Lacrosse League action
at the Clearwater Arena
Monday night.

"What's different this
time is the intensity,"
said Coach Kevin Huggett
after the game "They
played with a lot better
effort and with more
discipline, they worked
hard, they fought all
game but came up a
little short."
Wallaceburg took a 4 - 2
lead after the first
period. Jordan Van
Damme scored three of
the Red Devil goals and
a single by Clint
Lamarsh.
Liam Wright and Dan
Gawne scored for the
Pacers.
In the second Sarnia
would narrow the gap
trailing by one goal
scoring 3 goals with
Wallaceburg scoring 2.
Ben Tamming, Brandan
Burr and Dan Charlton
scored for Sarnia and
Jordan VanDamme and
Jordan Durston scoring
for Wallaceburg.

In the final period
Wallaceburg would
widened their after
scoring the first two
goals in the period.
Jordan VanDamme would
score his fifth goal of
the night and Reid
Miller added a single.
With lots of time
remaining Kevin Hussey
put one in for the
Pacers.
Wallaceburg final goal
of the night was on the
powerplay midway into
the period by Clint
Lamarsh.
Sarnia continue to fight
back and came within one
with TJ Mara scoring
back to back goals, the
second at 19:54 but the
time ran out and the
Pacers giving them their
4th straight loss for
the season.
"we are going to have to
learn to take advantage
of our offensive breaks
when we get into the
offensive zone, we got
to put the ball in the
net, but I really like
the effort."
Ryan Schetzkowski made
25 saves for the Red
Devils, Ian Ferguson
went the distance in net
for the Pacers with 20
saves.
Sarnia went 2 for 10 on
power play
opportunities,
Wallaceburg went 3 for
7.
Sarnia is back in action
on Wednesday May 9 when
they travel to London,
then on Friday they are
back at home, hosts to
Guelph at the Clearwater
arena, game time 8:00
pm.
