After a very uninspired
effort in a 4-1 loss Friday
against the Huron Perth
Lakers, the Lambton Jr.
Sting came back with a
vengeance Saturday at home
and won 1 - 0. Suberb
goaltending from Kaden
Fulcher earning the shut
out.
The Sting played with
determination, grit, and a
will to win at any cost. The
game was a scoreless, tight
checking game after two
periods. Brock Perry broke
the 0 - 0 game open with a
terrific top shelve rebound
shot from Alec Dekoning and
Issac McLean .That was all
the scoring the Sting would
need .
Coach Mike Bush told the
team after he was proud of
the effort and determination
the team played with.
The series can be decided in
game 5 that will be played
in Milverton on Saturday
March 31. If tied they
will return home for a 1:30
pm game at the RBC center.
Minor Peewee
The Minor Peewee ended their
season by taking the Playoff
Champion title for the
second year in a row by
defeating Cambridge 3 - 2 in
overtime.
Lambton took the 6 point
series after 4 games with 3
wins and a loss.
