Sarnia Sting earned a place in the
playoffs for the first time in three
years.
After
a scoreless first period Sault Ste.
Marie scored three consecutive
goals, two on the power play.
Before the period ended Sarnia would
added a single to head into the
third trailing 3 - 1.
In
the third Sarnia stung the
Greyhounds by scoring 4 back to back
goals. Before the game ended
Sault Ste. Marie would add one more
but it wasn't enough giving the
Sting the 5 - 4 win.
Ludvig Rensfeldt scored the first
and last Sarnia goals with Domenic
Alberga, Brett Thompson and Reid
Boucher each adding singles.
Ryan Sproul, Michael Schumacher,
David Broll and Nick Cousins scored
for the Greyhounds.
