The
Sarnia Braves were in Windsor Sunday for
a double header against the Windsor
Selects in Can Am League play. In
the first game Windsor took a 10 - 0
shut out win over the Braves.
Sarnia had 3 hits, a single by Russ
Muhlig and a single and double by Tyler
Young. The Brave had 5 errors in the
game.
On the mound
Matt Liberty pitched for 3 innings
striking out 1 allowing 3 hits, 7 walks
and 2 runs. Rory Fell went in for
2 innings striking out 1 allowing 5 runs
on 7 hits and a walk. Jason Shaw
pitched a single inning giving up 3 runs
on 4 hits and a walk.
In game 2
Sarnia bounced back and took the win
with a final score of 8 - 6. After
two innings of play the score was tied 5
- 5. Sarnia scored 2 runs in the
third and a single in fifth inning to
take an 8 - 5 lead after five innings of
play. Only other run was by
Windsor w in the sixth giving Sarnia the
win.
Anythony
Shepherd pitched 2 innings striking out
1, allowing 5 runs on 3 hits and a walk.
Wade Babula pitched 5 innings striking
out 1, allowing 1 run on two hits and 5
walks.

Alex McLean had a single and 2 doubles,
Nick Baljeu had 2 singles and Randy
