had another
fantastic
weekend at
the West
Mountain
2012
Topper's
Pizza
Baseball
Classic in
Hamilton.
Friday night
the boys
went up
against the
Simcoe
Giants and
came out
with a 14-7
win.
Saturday
morning
after an
hour delay
because of a
thunderstorm,
the boys we
up against
the Tecumseh
Rangers and
played great
to take
another
12-10 win.
With a short
break the
team went up
against
North York
AAA Major
Mosquito's
and lost
16-1.
Later in the
afternoon a
tired
Corunna team
played
Hamilton
Major
Mosquito
Tier II, and
lost 15-2.
Sunday
morning back
to the park
to find out
we were
playing
Oakville
Major
Mosquito
Team 2 AA.
The boys
were a bit
nervous but
played a
fantastic
game and
pulled off
the semi
final game
with a 7-3
win.
That brought
us to the AA
championship
game against
Windsor-Riverside
Major
Mosquito's,
and in a
very close
game the
boys fought
hard but
came up
short taking
an 11-8
loss.
Despite the
loss the
team put in
a great
performance
as Corunna
is a D
center they
were quite
happy ending
up in the AA
division
final.
