Chatham, On - The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) held their annual awards banquet last night in Chatham. At the awards ceremony The Sarnia Legionnaires received the Stan Moore Memorial Award 1st Place regular season trophy.
Individual awards went to Matt Cimetta who earned the Most Outstanding 1st year Defenseman Award. Rookie All Star selection included Defensemen Tyler Prong and Matt Cimetta. First Team All Stars included Jesse Drydak and Anthony Donati.
Jesse Drydak earned the prestigious CHOK Player of the Year MVP award. Drydak averaged over a point per game in his four year career with the Legionnaires and has earned Team MVP the past two season. Drydak is the all time leader for goals scored for Sarnia Junior B Hockey and owns career mark for most goals (120), most points (244), most power play goals (36), most shorthanded goals (15) (the most in one season) and the most game-winning goals (20). In 2011 - 2012 he was selected to the All Star team.

Coaching staff Dan Rose, Bob Barlow, Dara Emslie, Brent Sullivan and Goalie Coach Paul Burgess earned the Petes Sports Coaching Staff of the Year.
