The Sarnia Jr. Sting Major Atom MD travelled to London on Sunday February 26 to face the Oakridge Aeros and came home with a 6-0 win.

Wat Waun Started off the scoring for Sarnia at the mid way point of the first from Collin Zimmer and Beynon Jonas. In the second period Spencer Baillie scored early in the frame from Evan Trigatti and Ryan Eyre and Cole finished off the period with an unassisted marker.

The third period saw Spencer Baillie get his second of the game unassisted and with the Aeros net empty and a Sarnia player in the penalty box Collin Zimmer scored from Spencer Baillie. Shortly after Collins goal Tyler Talbot-Ellis scored short handed to finish the game.

Cam Stevens and Stevie Schaefer split the shut out for the Jr. Sting this game. Tyler Talbot-Ellis was the coach’s player of the game while Evan Trigatti was the parents pick.

After 5 games in 8 days the Major Atom MD will enjoy a few days off before hosting the same Oakridge Aeros back in Sarnia on Saturday March 3 at the Clearwater Arena at noon.
