On Sunday February 19 the Jr. Sting Major Atom MD continued the Alliance West MD play downs by defeating the Stratford Warriors by a score of 3-1 in Stratford.

Spencer Baillie did all the scoring for Sarnia, starting at the 8 minute mark of the first period on a nice feed from Evan Trigatti before the Warriors came back and tied it 29 seconds later.

After a scoreless 2nd period, Spencer tallied at the four minute mark of the third period from Ryan Eyre and Evan Trigatti and again one minute later unassisted. Stevie Schaefer played well in net for the Major Atom MD to earn the victory. Greg Ross was the coach’s player of the game while Damon Skinn-Wai was the parent’s player of the game.
