On Friday December 7  the Point Edward Atom Blackhawks went on the road to face the Mt Brydges Gold Team in Komoka. With numerous opportunities from both sides that kept the fans on the edge of their seats the Blackhawks were first to score half way into the first period.

In the second Mt. Brydges scored to tie things up and with pressure on both sides neither side could break the tie and the game ended with a final score of 1 - 1.

On Saturday the team was back on the road to Ilderton.  Point Edward scored two unanswered goals in the first period.  After a scoreless second period Ilderton scored an early third period goal.  Point Edward quickly answered back to up the score 3 - 1.  Illderton continued to fight back and scored to narrow the gap.  Point Edward sealed the game with scoring their forth goal to end the game with a final score of 4 - 2.
