Petrolia Squires Drove Over Milverton in Senior WOAA Hockey action

The Petrolia Squires hosted the Milverton 4 Wheel Drives Friday night in Petrolia and drove over all over them and took a 10 - 3 win in WOAA Senior Hockey league action.

After the first period of play the Squires had a 3 - 2 lead.  Then the Wheels fell off for Milverton as the Squires scored 4 in the second and added three more in the third.  Milverton managed a single goal in the second to round out their scoring.

Tyler Lewis scored two goals in the win with singles by James Edgar, Jess Drydak, Scott McPhail, Braydan Belan, Aaron Schieman, Dan Veenama, Mike Zavitz and Adam McCullum.

Milverton goal scorers were Mark Pfohl, Brent Freeman and Greg Huzarik.

The Squires scored 2 power play goals on 5 opportunities.  Milverton went 1 for 3.

Chris Houle earned the win in net with a total of 37 saves. 

Next home game is Fri., Dec 14 8 pm vs Thedford Greenwood Recreation Centre.
