Canada defeated USA 2 - 1 in National Sledge Hockey Challenge

Calgary, AL - The Canadian National Sledge hockey team were victorious over Team USA with a final score of 2 - 1 to keep their perfect record heading into the semi finals. 

Canada scored in the first and second period with Adam Dixon and Billy Bridges each scoring and both assisting on each goal.  The USA goal came in the third period by Taylor Chace.

Forest resident Tyler McGregor is a member of Team Canada.  So far in the tournament he has recorded 2 points.

Norway and Japan went head to head on Wednesday with both sides even after regulation time.  It took a shoot out to decide the winner where Norway came out on top to take the 1 - 0 win.

Canada will face Japan in the semi final and USA will go up against Norway.   Both games will be played on Thursday.  Canada's game is at 9:00 pm EST (7:00 MST).
