Marinaro and Purdy Placed Second After Short Program

At the Junior ISU Grand Prix in Lake Placid local pairs figure skaters Michael Marinaro and Margaret Purdy placed second after their short program on Thursday.
 
Sitting in first place with a score of 48.97 are Russian skaters Vasilisa Davankova and Andrei Deputat.  Marinaro and Purdy scored 47.84 and in third spot is USA skaters Deputath Haven and Brandon Frazier with 44.58.  Two other Canadian Pairs placed 10th & 11th.
 
The long program free skating will take place on Saturday Sept 1.
