Esso vs. MIG: Cosmo Cup Game
This matchup started fast and furious as both teams were looking to score, as the winner advanced to the semi-finals of the Cosmo cup, while the loser went home.
Although there were many opportunities in the game the game produced no goals and would go to the dreaded shootout.
In penalty Kicks MIG came away with the win, winning on penalty kicks 2-1. The lone Esso goal scorer in the penalty kicks was Zach Vanreenen. Eliminating Esso from the Cosmo cup, while MIG advanced to the semi-finals against Paton Controls.
Wednesday Aug 8th: Challange Match between Esso & Casual Soccer - Esso Came out on Top 5-1, Esso Goalscorers were Matthew Clever with a pair, while Zach Smit, Jeremy Clever & Brian Cook each had a goal apiece. While Matthew Ferrera scored the lone goal for Casual F.C.
