
Peterborough,
Ont - Sarnia native Kelly Killoran received
high honors at the Fleming College Athletic
Awards banquet held Monday night.
Killoran was named Fleming College
2011-12 Women’s Basketball MVP, Female
Athlete of the Year and the
Ontario College Athletic Association (OCAA)
2011-2012 East region second team all-star.
Other awards Killoran received throughout
the season were:
2011-2012 OCAA - all-time record holder for
most three-point field goals in a season,

2011-2012 OCAA all-academic,
2011-2012 OCAA Athlete of the week
2011-2012 Canadian College Athletic
Association (CCAA) Athlete of the week
Killoran also received the
2011-2012 CCAA All-Canadian Academic/Athlete
which is rare for a OCAA student.

Killoran received the honour for
scoring a 3.7 grad-point average and being
named an all-star and contributing to her
team's moral. She was chosen by a
Fleming College faculty panel.
Killoran is a
former student at St. Christopher's and is a
graduate of the Huron Lakers Girls
Basketball program. She studied
sociology at Carleton University before
attending Fleming College where she is
enrolled in the police foundations program.
