The Mooretown Flags
traveled to Blenheim on Sunday night and took a 2 -

"It really was a
heartbreaker." said head Coach Jordan Pennesi, "I
thought we played pretty well for full three
periods. We had a one nothing lead going into the
third period."
Riley Roberts scored his
fifteenth goal of the season to give the Flags the 1
- 0 lead at 3:15 in the first period assisted
by Jeff Schroeter and Andrew Sokol.
In the third period Kirk
McKillop scored a short handed goal to tie the game
at 6:54.
"It was a fluke play."
said Pennesi "Our goalie went to clear the puck and
hit their guy, they kept it in and shot it in the
empty net."
Action continued and
late in the period at 18:32 McKillop scored his
second of the game to give the Blades the win.

"Ten more games left in
the regular season. We are getting there, we
are a young team and I think the more we do it the
more practicing at it, it will come" said Pennesi.
