Dresden, ON – The Mooretown Flags have hit their third loss in a row, after a 3-2 loss to the Dresden Jr. King Friday night in Dresden.

Mooretown held the early lead after Jeff Schroeter made it a 1-0 game in the middle of the first, but the Flags would not get out of the period with the lead, as James Shelton made it 1-1 with his late period goal with under two minutes remaining.

Mooretown would though retake and hold the lead in the second, as Aaron Schieman would score on the powerplay to make it a 2-1 game after two.

But in the third, it would only take Dresden four minutes to get their first lead in the game. Taylor Sisson would score 2:50 into the period, followed by Cam Ross 1:14 later on, as Dresden took the 3-2 lead. Mooretown would not be able to respond, and the Jr. Kings would came away with the victory.

Andrew Ganter got the start and made 25 saves in the loss.

Mooretown is back in action on Wednesday, with a home game against Kingsville.
