Wallaceburg, ON – After handing the Wallaceburg Lakers an 8-3 defeat on Saturday, the Mooretown Flags went to Wallaceburg and gave them another loss, as Mooretown won 4-2.

The back to back victory opened with a called up player for the Flags getting them on the board, as Frank Dimaria opened the scoring and gave the Flags a 1-0 lead. Wallaceburg would reply in the period, as Jeff Nolfo would get his first of the game.

In the second, Mitch Handsen another Flags call up would put Mooretown back in front, but much like the first period, Nolfo would tie the game up minutes later, sending the game into the third tied at 2-2.

In the third, Jeff Schroeter would put Mooretown back in front 30 seconds into the period, with Jeff Sit picking up the assist. The two would combine again for a second goal, only this time Sit would finish, giving Mooretown the two goal lead and the victory.

Andrew Ganter made 40 saves in the victory to earn his 11th victory of the season.

Mooretown will take on Alvinston Saturday, December 17th as their last home game of 2011.
