The Flags took a 6- 3 loss
at home Saturday against the league leading Belle River
Canadiens.
Belle River scored 1 in the first period and went on and
scored 2 more before Mooretown's lit up the scoreboard.
Josh Teschke scored the lone goal in the second for the
Flags.
Trailing 3 - 1 the Flags bounced back and scored back to
back goals in the third to tie with Jeff Drexler and
Adam Little (PP) scoring.
Belle River regained the lead at 11:01 and never looked
back as they went on and scored two more unanswered goal
in the win.
Dylan Chessell led the Canadiens scoring 2 goals with
singles by Shane Noel, Travis Brown, Derek Haskel
and Chris DiNatale (PP).

Gladwish took the loss making a total of 42 saves in the
game. Andrew Thompson earned the win with 37.
The Flags are back in action tonight as they travel to
Blenheim to take on the Blades. This is the Flags
fourth game in six nights.
Game time in Blenheim is 7:15pm. |
