After a scoreless first period the lights began to flash in the second  as Jason Teschke scored just :16 seconds into the period for the Flags.  Wallaceburg answered back with a powerplay goal at :59 seconds.  Wallaceburg then went on and scored three more goals at 3:02, 4:00 and 4:39. Scoring for the Lakers were Rob Pollock, Shawn Lubbers and Norm Leger with 2 back to back goals.  Down 4 - 1 with 15 minutes left in the period the Flags narrowed the gap and came back with a pair of goals by Josh Teschke and Mike Burns on the powerplay.

In the third period Wallaceburg would score three unanswered goals to run away with the game and take the win with a final score of 7 - 3.  Third period goals were scored by Jordan Belanger, Rob Pollock and Tyson Isaac.

Wallaceburg outshot the Flags 29 - 23.  Mooretown went 1 for 4 on the powerplay, Wallaceburg went 1 for 2.

Jordan Gladwish took the loss in net, Matt Berglund earned the win.

Wallaceburg is back in action Friday night with an away game in Belle River.

Mooretown has a home/home series against Kingsville with the first being play in Kingsville on Sunday Nov 14 then back at home on Wed Nov 7 for an 8:00 pm start.
