Flags one loss away from elimination

The Mooretown Flags are one loss away from being eliminated from the Junior C playoffs after a 6-1 defeat by Belle River in game three of their best of seven series.

Mooretown's only goal of the game was actually the first goal of the game, as Jason Teschke scored to make it 1-0 for the Flags. Goalie Jordan Gladwish got the assist on the goal. From there on it was all Belle River. Cole Chealier scored unassisted to tie the game 1-1, and 17 seconds later Scott Chauvin made it 2-1 for the Canadiens to end the first.

In the second it took the entire period for someone to find the back of the net as Nik Dobrich scored for Belle River to make it 3-1 for the Canadiens.

In the third it was more Belle River, as Brett Hickey scored 2 minutes into the period to make it 4-1. Spencer Jean would make it 5-1 and Hickey would get his second of the period to make the final 6-1.

The Flags were outshot 33-28 in the loss. Goalie Jordan Gladwish made 27 saves on 32 shots in the game. We was pulled with 6 minutes remaining.
