sarniasports.com DECEMBER 5, 2010
The
Blenheim blades scored seven in a row to take a 7-2
victory over the Mooretown Flags.
Josh
Teschke would open the scoring for the game on the
powerplay to give the Flags a 1-0 lead. But from there,
the Blades would continue to score unanswered goals on
the Flags. Thomas Innes and Brendon Anger each added one
of their two goals in the first period to give the
Blades a 2-1 lead.
In the
second, Anger and Innes added their second, while Taylor
Phillips and Owen Kent added single goals for the
Blades. Mooretown had only eight shots in the second and
could not beat Dylan Vanderpol to stop the scoring
streak of the Blades.
By the
third, Nathan Puchnatyi would add the final goal for the
Blades to take a 7-1 lead. Josh Teschke would add his
second of the game to make it 7-2, but that was all the
Flags could put in the net.
Jason
Teschke had two assists in the game, while Jordan
Gladwish made 14 saves on 19 shots, before being
replaced by Colton James who had 10 saves on 12 shots.
Mooretown
is now one point ahead of Alvinston in the North
Division. They will next take on Dresden on Saturday,
December 11th at home.
