The wheels fell off the band wagon after tying the series in game six,  the Mooretown Flags took a 6 - 2 loss in game seven and their season is over.

The Flags didn't get off to a good start allowing two goals within two minutes, Dresden added a third on a powerplay to end the first period leading 3 - 0.  Ben Holtom, Jim Rouse and Joe Deboer scored for Dresden in the first.
 

Second period saw Mooretown give up another powerplay goal to Dresden to go up 4 - 0.  Donny Bowling put the Flags on the score board midway into the second, two minutes later Dresden made it 5 - 1.  Dan Hyatt and Justin Rossignol scored in the second for Dresden.
 

Third period action saw Donny Bowling scored his second of the night at 1:08 into the period.  Dresden answered back with their final goal at 4:57 by Ben Holtom.

Mooretown went 0 for 5 in powerplay opportunities, Dresden went 2 for 5.  Mooretown had a total of 30 shots on goal, Dresden count was 33.
 

Earning the win and going the distance in net for Dresden was Eric Steinman,  Jordan Gladwish had the start and was later replaced by Seth Anderson for Moretown.

Dresden will now meet North Division Leaders, the Wallaceburg Lakers for the Division Championship.  schedule has not been released.
