Brett Thompson scored the first goal just :27 seconds into the game with Jordan Pennesi and Mike Burns assisting.  Dresden came back to tie on an unassisted goal by Scott Gawne at 11:54.

Second period action saw Brett Thompson score his second goal of the night at the 4:00 minute mark unassisted.  The two teams would head to the dressing room with the Flags leading 2 - 1 at the end of the second period.

In the opening minute of the third period Jordan Pennesi shot the two point lead for the Flags assisted by Brett Thompson and William Brandon.  :54 seconds later Jim Rouse narrowed the gap for Dresden.  Action continued and in the final minute Jordan Pennesi scored into the empty net unassisted to put the lid on the game.  Time of the final goal was 19:24.

Shots on goal for Mooretown was 36 Dresden recorded 34.  Seth Anderson took the win for the Flags, Eric Steinman recorded the loss.

Mooretown went 0 for 4 in powerplay opportunities - Dresden went 0 for 3.
