the long hours and years and a huge commitment to nurse

Beaton family in memory of their son Robbie.
The Beaton family were strong supporters of the

"Slash" was an avid fan of

over the years who was always seen
leaning against the top rail cheering on the team! |

Gary McDonald was an active
member of the
Mooretown Executive for many years.
Gary was a behind the scenes kind of guy who ran the
clock, helped at the bingos and other fund raising
events. |

This award that is
presented to the
most valuable player in memory of Ross McCormick.
Ross was a quiet, out of the limelight volunteer who
spent long
hours as an executive, fund raiser, taxi driver and
dedicated team helper at the rink. |

"Pork" Laur was a proud avid fan and promoter of
the Mooretown Flags Team and Organization. This
Scholarship Award is given to a local player who
exemplifies a hard work ethic, strong team play, a
desire to play the best he can, exhibiting manners of a
gentleman and who enjoys the game of hockey. |

GLJC
Scholarship Award
Mike Burns
The GLJC Scholarship Award is
presented annually to a player from every team in the
league who is currently enrolled in a Post Secondary
School. The award is made possible from all of the
efforts of the GLJC league. |

Overage Sweater
Presentation
Jordan Pennesi & Ray Martin
Sweaters are presented annually to the
overage players. |
|
At the conclusion of
the evening's presentation Coach Bruce Aberhart said that the
hardest job of the season was picking the names to go on the awards
as the whole team was deserving. He expressed his enjoyment
working with the team and announced that the coaching staff would be
returning next year. |
