Sarnia Pacers vs Wallaceburg Griffins
May 6, 2010

Sarnia Bantam Pacers took their first loss of the season tonight while facing the Windsor Warlocks.

Sarnia was defeated by the big Warlock Noah Bushnell who led his team and scored their first 5 goals.  Sarnia was never out of this contest though and there was only a one goal difference throughout the first and second periods.  Windsor opened the scoringSa 6 seconds into the game. Pacers tied it up on a goal from Sam McCormack, assisted by Michaeline Falla.  Falla would then put the Pacers up by one, assisted by Jacob Huggett and McCormack. However Windsor would score two more before the period was over and led 3-2 at the end of the first.

Both teams exchanged goals in the second.  Sarnia's was scored by Kraig Durco assisted by Ryleigh Taylor.  Windsor again led at the end of the second, 4-3.  Unfortunately, Windsor scored to go up 5-3 early in the third.  Sarnia responded on an unassisted goal by Taylor.  That was as close as Sarnia would come as the Warlocks would score two more before the game ended with a 7-4 loss for the hometown Bantam Pacers.

Sarnia hopes to rebound on Saturday as the Sun County Crows fly in to town for a double header.  Games will be played at 11am and 2pm at the Clearwater Arena.
