Sarnia Jr. B Pacers Lacrosse starts the season off with
an exhibition game against the London Blue Devils

The Sarnia Jr. B Lacrosse team will be starting off the 2010 season with an exhibition game against the London Blue Devils.
The game will be played on Wednesday April 14th, at 8:00 p.m. at the Clearwater arena.

Ken Barrett General Manager and Coach of The Sarnia Jr B Lacrosse team says “this will be the first official game with the finalized team.”  The team is gearing up for the upcoming season opener that will be played April 16th in Wallaceburg against the Wallaceburg Red Devils.

There will not be a charge to attend the exhibition game but The Sarnia In Motion Lacrosse organization asks that all attendees bring a non perishable food item that will be donated to the Inn of the Good Sheppard.

The formation of junior lacrosse in Lambton County occurred in 1973. The Pacers captured the Junior B Canadian championships, known as the Founders Cup, in 1978, 1979, 1983 and 1984. These teams established records that still stand today. Lacrosse is a popular sport in Sarnia and continues to grow every year.
