Sarnia Jr B Pacers at Windsor

The Sarnia Jr B Pacers lost in overtime in Windsor Tuesday night with a final score of 9 -7.  Windsor took a 4 - 2 lead after the first period of play.  Riley Thompson scored both of the Sarnia goals and Trevor Yealy assisted on each of the goals.

In the second Sarnia narrowed the gap to 1 at the end of the period scoring 2.  Windsor added a single to remain in the lead 5 - 4 after two.   TJ Mara and Riley Thompson scored his third of the night.

In the third period Windsor took a 7 - 4 lead, but the Pacers dug in a came back and scored 3 to tie things up at the end of the period sending the game into overtime.  Dan Charlton scored a powerplay goal and Aaron Schieman and Jimmy Purves each scored one.

In overtime Windsor scored 2 unanswered goals to take the win.

Sarnia went 1 for 4 on powerplay opportunities, Windsor went 2 for 4.

Tyler Glebe went the distance for the Pacer's making a total of 41 saves in the game.   Winning goalie Erik McLaren made 49 saves.

The Pacers are now 4 and 10 for the season.
 

The Pacers are back at home on Sunday June 6 for a 3:00 pm start at the Clearwater arena against Owen Sound.
