of tonight's
home opener for
the Sarnia
Legionnaires.
WHO –
Sarnia
Legionnaires
(1-1) vs.
Strathroy
Rockets (1-1).
WHEN –
7:10 p.m. at the
Brock Street
Barn.
WHO TO WATCH
Sarnia:
Forwards Jeff
Schroeter and
Brent Sauve have
both shown a
nice scoring
touch around the
net in the
club's first two
games.
Strathroy:
Derek Nap has a
goal and three
assists for the
Rockets. Alex
Avery also has
three points.
And of course
the team
features veteran
right-winger

who is well
known to
Legionnaire
fans.
SIGNIFICANCE
– Early
indications are
that several
teams will be
bunched close
together in the
standings all
year long, which
means games like
this could be
important down
the stretch.
HISTORY –
Strathroy has
had Sarnia's
number for quite
some time now.
In fact, the
Rockets won all
six encounters
between the two
clubs last year.
They also won
both exhibition
games against
the Legionnaires
this fall. The
last time Sarnia
beat Strathroy
was in Game
Seven of the
2009 playoffs.
The Legionnaires
triumphed in
that one 5-1,
then went on to
win the Western
Jr. 'B'
championship.
