Sarnia's Kyle Washer is the top goalie in the Western Ontario Hockey Conference, at least statistically.

The veteran Legionnaire puckstopper has the best goals against average (GAA) in the nine-team circuit, with a mark of 2.50. Greg Dodds of the St. Marys Lincolns is in second place with a record of 2.52.

In terms of save percentage, Washer is in first place with a .924 mark.

Washer, who is in his third year in the league, has a won-lost record of 5-1. He also has one shutout to his credit.

Marc Nother of the Strathroy Rockets leads in the wins department with seven behind his name.

Sarnia's other goaltender, rookie Mike Reed, has a 4.39 GAA and a save percentage of .880. Washer and Reed have split the goalkeeping duties almost evenly. Reed has seen just over 382 minutes of action, while Washer has been between the pipes for about 335 minutes.

Coach Jeff Perry has expressed satisfaction with both his netmen, saying they have been the least of his concerns so far this campaign.
