Sarnia traveled up
the 402 to Lambton
Shores and took a 7
- 3 win over the
Predators. In
the first period
Sarnia took a 2 - 0
lead but the
Predators came back
and evened the
score. Scoring
for Sarnia were
Chase Clark and
Brent Sauve.
For Lambton Shores
Matt Rupert scored
the first goal on
the powerplay and
Kalvin Thornton
added the second.
In the second period
the score remained
tight again as both
sides scored singles
to end the period
tied at 3 all.
Tyler Cicchini
scored a shorthanded
goal for Sarnia and
Brent Andriash
scored for the
Predators.
Third period saw
Sarnia score 4
unanswered goal in
the first 10 minutes
of play. The
first goal was by
Brett Thompson who
went up against
Predator's netminder
Chris Clark after
being awarded a
penalty shot just
:31 seconds into the
period. Jeff
Schroeter, Nathan
Mater and Brent
Sauve went on and
each scored singles.
The Legionnaires
would hold off the
Predator attack for
the win.
Sarnia outshot
Lambton Shores 38 -
28. Kyle
Washer earned the
win for Sarnia with
25 saves.
Chris Clark made a
total of 31 saves
for Lambton Shores.
Sarnia is back at
home on Thursday for
their home opener
against Strathroy.
Game time begins at
7:10. Box
office will be open
at 3:00 pm.

Legion on Front St.
at 6:30pm
The Predators will
be traveling to
Strathroy on
Saturday Sept 18 for
their next game.
