The Wallaceburg Lakers hosted the Alvinston Flyers in Great Lakes Jr C action and overcame a 2 - 0 deficit to take the game with a final score of 5 - 3.

After the first period Alvinston led 2 - 0.  In the second Wallaceburg narrowed the gap with a single which Alvinston answered back and added a single.  Wallaceburg came back and scored 2 more goals to end the second tied at 3 all.  In the third Wallaceburg took the lead by scoring 2 unanswered goals.

Scoring for Wallaceburg were Tyson Isaac (PP)  Sam Jasmin (PP) , Norm Leger, Wayd Pitfield and Rob Pollock.
Scoring for Alvinston were Jake McPhail (PP), Chris Edwards (SH) and Dan Warner.

Alvinston netminder Brandon Campbell had another stellar game despite the loss making 55 saves in the loss. Matt Berglund took the win with 25 saves.

Wallaceburg has the week off and returns to the ice next Wed when they host Kingsville.  Game time 7:30 pm.

Alvinston travels to Belle River on Friday (7:30 pm) and Blenheim on Sunday. (7:15 pm.)
