Petrolia Squires vs
Lucan-Ilderton Jets

The Squires suffered their
first loss of the season on Friday night to the
Lucan-Ilderton Jets.
It was a tight game that was resolved at :14 seconds
remaining in the 3rd period that gave the Jets the 2 - 1
win. Jason Polera scored the first third period
goal just over 2 minutes into the period to give the
Squires the 1 - 0 lead. Jet's Mark Landon
scored on the powerplay with 11:44 left on the clock to
tie and the game winner was scored by Dan Crowley with
seconds remaining.
Steve Bryce took the loss in net for the Squires with a
total of 26 saves. K.J. Robinson took the win with
33 saves.The
Squires are now 4 - 1 - 0 for the season and they are
back in action on Sunday when they travel to Exeter to
take on the Thedford Dirty Dogs.
Early in the season, the Squires are in forth place in
the standings race.
