Lambton Major
PeeWee AAA Open Season with a
Victory
The
Jr Sting PeeWee's hosted the
Chatham-Kent Cyclones and put
out a solid team effort to come
away with a well deserved 3-1
victory.
After a dominating first period
that saw the home squad only
manage one goal the game
tightened up as both teams had a
number of chances but weren't
sharp in their efforts to
capitalize. Lambton would score
a goal in each period against
Chatham's lone second period
marker.
Scoring for the Jr Sting were
Brock Perry, Alec Dekoning and
Isaac McLean with assists going
to Brett Barnes, Perry, McLean
and Franco Sproviero. Anthony
Hurtubise went the distance in
goal and was solid in his first
league outing.
