The Jr
Sting PeeWee's played two games this
past weekend and managed just one
point for their efforts. In
Saturday's road contest the Lambton
squad travelled to Hamilton to
battle the Rep's and experienced
their first 3 man refereeing system.
They will hope to not encounter this
for the rest of the season as it
resulted in 26 minutes in penalties
including 18 in the final period
which contributed to a 5-4 loss to
the home team. Scoring for Lambton
were Colin Leyten, Isaac McLean,
Ryan Greenaway and Ethan Dupont, all
with singles. Picking up assists
were Alec Dekoning and Greenaway.
The
following day the Jr Sting hosted
the Sun County Panthers and put
together a solid team effort to come
away with a 2-2 tie. Anthony
Hurtubise was solid in net and the
goal scoring was provided by Dupont
and McLean. Assisting on the goals
were Logan Scott and Dekoning. |
