Legionnaires Training Camp

The Sarnia Legionnaires held their main training camp over the weekend with 85 players in attendance. The camp included many local players including Steve Farlow, Jeff Paulley and Derek Nap.   All in which had very strong camps according to Coach Jeff Perry.  Key players returning, Zack MacQueen, Tyler Cicchini, Tyler Peters showed leadership and should produce good offensive numbers this year and lead by example.  The camp also included 2 players from Poland and Hungary who the coaches were impressed with and will be further evaluating.

The camp has been trimmed down to 40 players "and now the decision get's harder" said Coach Perry.  "We'll have a better look at the players at the exhibition games and make final decisions".  Also their decisions will be based on outcomes at the Junior A level as several players will be attending their camps as well.  Zack MacQueen, Tyler Peters and Andrew Sokol will be attending the Sting camp.  Jeff Paulley will be at Kitchener, Chase Clark at London and Kyle Flemington at Saginaw.
