(Thursday)
when the
region's two
Jr. 'B'
hockey teams
square off
at the Brock
Street Barn.

(2-14-2).
WHEN:
7:30 p.m.
Thursday,
Nov. 5.
WHERE:
The Sarnia
Arena.
SIGNIFICANCE:
Both teams
badly need a
win. Sarnia
is in a
dogfight
with
Chatham,
LaSalle, St.
Marys and
St. Thomas
for third
place in the
Western
Conference
of the
Greater
Ontario
Junior
Hockey

is trying to
chase down
the
Leamington
Flyers for
the last
playoff
spot.
ROAD
WARRIORS:
The
Predators
are 0-9 at
home, but on
the road
it's a
different
story. In
fact, they
have a 2-5
record away
from Forest.
Their last
road trip
ended with a
surprisingly
easy 7-2 win
at St.
Thomas.
STATS:
Sarnia's
powerplay is
clicking at
a 17.4 per
cent rate,
good enough
for 14th
place in the
25-team
league. Its
penalty
killing team
is
functioning
at almost 84
per cent,
good enough
for seventh
overall.
Lambton
Shores has
the worst
powerplay in
the league,
with a
success rate
of only 10
per cent.
Its PK is
successful
81.1 per
cent of the
time.
LAST
OUTINGS:
The
Legionnaires
lost 3-1 in
St. Marys
last Friday.
Lambton
Shores
dropped an
11-3 home
ice decision
to the
Strathroy
Rockets on
Tuesday.
WHO TO
WATCH:
Sarnia:
Chase Clark
has become
the first
Legionnaire
to reach the
20-point
plateau.
Lambton
Shores:
Big
defenceman
Ben Woodley
(6'6, 238
pounds) has
16 points in
16 games. He
wears No.
10.
HISTORY:
The
Legionnaires
won five of
six clashes
between the
clubs last
season, with
two of their
wins coming
in extra
time. This
year, Sarnia
won the only
previous
meeting 7-3
in Forest.
But the
Predators
gave a good
account of
themselves
in the early
going,
jumping into
a 2-0 first
period lead
before
getting into
penalty
trouble.
