The Sarnia Legionnaires have
fallen below the .500 mark
again.
The defending Western Jr.
'B' champions were whipped
5-1 Friday by the St. Marys
Lincolns.
As a result, they're 11-12-5
on the season.
Tanner Tomlinson was the
only Legionnaire to find the
back of the net, scoring his
sixth of the year on the
power play. Assists went to
Tanner Ferguson and Andy
Sokol.
Sarnia got off to a slow
start and never recovered.
In fact, they were outshot
21-4 during a first period
that saw them fall behind by
three goals.
After Tomlinson got them
back in it just past the
eight minute mark of the
second stanza, the Lincs
responded with two more
goals, much to the delight
of a St. Marys crowd of
about 400 fans. There was no
scoring in the third period.

Former Legionnaire Josh
Cornelissen had three
assists for the winners.
Cornelissen, who was
named the game's first
star, was traded to the
Stone Town team earlier
this season.
