Sarnia Jr Sting Peewee  A/AA  Win Avalanche Tournament

 The Sarnia Sting Peewee A/AA team competed in the Thanksgiving Avalanche Tournament in Toronto Ontario and brought home the championship going undefeated in the tournament.

In round robin play the Sting beat West Mall Lighting 6-0, host team Toronto Avalanche 10-1, Vaughn Panthers 5-1 and the Orleans Blues 4-3. Sarnia advanced to the semi-finals vs. the Downsview Beavers and skated to a 5-4 Overtime win sending them into the Championship game.

Sarnia would meet up with the Cobourg Jr Cougars for the title, while playing the final game approximately 3 hours after the semi final and with two less players due to suspension the Sting put in a gritty and determined performance as they skated to a 4-0 victory and very deserving championship.
