The Sarnia Sting Atom MD team defeated West
London Thursday night with an exciting 3 -2 come from
behind victory. Julian D'Agostini scored the winner with
35 seconds left in the game on a hard one - timer.
Assists on the play went to Dylan Schroeter and Adam L'
Heureux.
London had come out
flying, but Taylor Hunter made stop after stop early in
the game to keep Sarnia close. Dylan Schroeter scored
his 1st goal of the season, going top shelf on the
London goalie in the 2nd period to tie the game 1 -1.
Assisting the goal were Adam L'Heureux and Julian
D'Agostini.
West London went ahead
again 2 - 1 , but the Sting fought back with a nice end
to end rush by Adam L'Heureux, highlighted by a nice
backhand shot over the sprawling London netminder to
knot the game at 2 - 2. Assisting on the goal were
Keelan Kells and Dustin Dennett.
West London put the
pressure on in the dying seconds - pulling their goalie,
but Hendrik Lindhout was equal to the task turning away
several shots to secure the win for Sarnia.
