MD's fell to the Stratford Warriors on Sunday afternoon
by a score of 4 - 2.
Stratford jumped out to a
1-0 lead on the first shift of the game, but after a
slow start, the Sting tied the score at 1- 1 on Eric
Capes 1st goal of the year - a nice shot past a
sprawling Warrior goalie. Assisting on the goal were
Adam L'Heureux and Julian D'Agostini. Stratford scored 2
more goals in the 2nd period to pull ahead 3 - 1, while
Sarnia's goalie Hunter Taylor made several big stops to
keep the game close. Late in the 3rd period, the
Warriors pulled away, scoring again to make the score 4
- 1. The Sting's Adam L'Heureux scored in the final
minute of the game to make it close final at 4 - 2.
Assisting on the goal were Julian D'Agostini and Brennan
Healy.
