The Sarnia Sting Atom MD
team will play in the final of the Mooretown Storm Rep /
AE Tournament on Sunday in Moooretown at 3:00 pm.
against an as of yet undetermined opponent, after an
exciting 2 - 0 victory over the previously undefeated
Tecumseh - Shoreline Eagles on Saturday afternoon.
Adam L'Heureux opened the
scoring for the Sting in the 1st period after a nice
cross - ice pass from Keelan Kells. The 2nd period was
scoreless, but midway through the 3rd period, Keelan
Kells put the game away with his 1st goal of the season
- a hard shot that cleanly beat the Tecumseh goalie.
Assisting on the goal were Adam L'Heureux and Jordan
Marks. Hunter Taylor got the shutout for the Sting and
he was sharp in the Sarnia goal when he had to be.
Sarnia will face either
Tecumseh - Shoreline, Ayr, or Mooretown in the final.
