Mooretown Rep Tournament

The Sarnia Sting Atom MD team started off their
Mooretown Rep / AE Tournament with a 1 - 0 victory over
the host Mooretown Storm AE squad on Thursday night.
The game was not a pretty affair as there was a lot of
turnovers between the bluelines.
The game was scoreless after the 1st period, but Adam
L'Heureux put the Sting on the board, with what turned
out to be the game winner, midway through the 2nd
period. Julian D'Agostini and Jordan Marks assisted on
the play.
The 3rd period featured a couple of big stops by Hunter
Taylor to preserve the shutout for Sarnia, but penalty
trouble by Mooretown killed any momentum they had.
The next game for the Sting
is Friday afternoon at 4:40 pm. in Mooretown against Ayr.
