Petrolia Squires vs Lucan/Ilderton

Lucan - The series will be decided in game seven as the Petrolia Squires defeated Lucan/Ilderton last night with a final score of 9 - 5 in WOAA South Division Finals.

The Squires scored three goals in each period that included one powerplay and two shorthanded goals. the Jets scored 4 in the second and a single in the third.

Scott Hull and Kyle Hills each scored a pair of goals for the Squires and singles were by Craig Laframboise, Dan Veenema, Mitch Zavits, James Edgar and Kyle Gould.  Scoring for the Jets were Andrew Carey, Ryan Fletcher, Tood Hunt, Scott Mezwenberg (PP) and Mark Landon (PP).

The final game of the series tonight is in Petrolia (March 21).  Interesting to note that the last four games were won in the home rink by the visiting team.  The Squires look to break this streak to take the South Division Final to move on to the Championship series where they will take on Elora Rocks who won their Division final in four games.

Tonight's game time is at 7:30 pm in Petrolia.
